There's nothing wrong with it, but that's not enough If you saw any number of slashers in the 80s then you will be familiar with how this goes. The setting is interesting, with a group of pretty and vapid influencers all isolated at a glamping-spot for an ad, and told of the local legend (which is lovely, by the way), and then the horror starts. The journey is not very original, but maybe it doesn't have to be. You didn't come here to be elucidated, only to watch some gore and get a few jumpscares. This movie supplies that. The twist at the end isn't bad either. I enjoyed the movie, but it didn't provide much that was new. What WAS lovely, however, was how the movie did a great deal of "show, don't tell" when building the characters up, especially our main protagonist, who we are not told is just competent and resourceful, but we get shown that she is. It was a joy to watch.
