    Found footage is hard And this is now how you do it. There is an attempt made, for sure, but it simply isn't landing. Some of the casting is good, but other parts are not, and the directing is sometimes off the mark. The effects are simple, and work for what they are supposed to do, but the story has no legs, the tension is lacking, and thus the scares are not really biting. This is now a good example of found footage and you could be spending your time on better such movies, if that's what you came here for.
