After his dream Norway job doesn’t go quite to plan, Richard just wants to hide away from the world. Sadly for him, Ken has other ideas – mainly forcing him to join the protest group fighting to save the local allotments.

A depressed Richard searches for a real job and embarks on a fitness journey as his 40th birthday looms. Meanwhile, Ken prepares for his first first date in almost 60 years.

With Ken needing to resit his driving exam in order to win back his license, Richard offers to take him out on a mock test, not realising just how rusty his dad has become behind the wheel.
